After a successful career in design at Elizabeth Arden in New York City, Jane made the move to Seattle to unite with the love of her life, and now husband and business partner, Greg Geller. In 2002, while living in Seattle, Boatman Geller was born out of Jane’s own creative drive and her desire to fulfill a niche in the marketplace. Soon after, the pair made their move to Jane’s hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, where Greg decided to join in his wife’s business that was creating quite the buzz.

Jane’s inspirations come not only from her cherished memories of beach vacations to Nantucket, her years as a young designer in Manhattan, and her big move to Seattle, but from the births of she and Greg’s three daughters, Isabelle, 7, Anna, 5 and Charlotte,1. It is these experiences that create the simple elegance of Boatman Geller collections and make them perfect for celebrating the special occasions in life, as well as those “everyday” moments that inspire our dreams.

When Bonnie Marcus was seven months pregnant, her chic new line of holiday greetings was featured in New York Magazine as a “Best Bet” and the excitement has not stopped since! Six years, three boys, and over 500 designs later, Bonnie’s award-winning collection is sold in over 1,000 retail stores around the world. In addition to the wedding and holiday designs, the line has expanded to more than 10 collections including, appropriately, an innovative line of invitations and note cards for moms-to-be, Expecting in Style ®. Bonnie also introduced a fresh new collection of footwear “fun, flirty flip flops” and fabulous tote bags in 2008. Other exciting projects beyond the world of paper are also in the works.

The founder of take note! designs, Sara Belote, has been designing custom cards for more than 15 years, In early 2003, Sara began to market her exclusive designs via the web with the create of take note! announcements. The positive response was absolutely amazing, and so much fun! With the prompting of many retailers wishing to offer the take note! collection, she decided to become a wholesale vendor, allowing retailers around the globe to offer the take note! line. Sara still enjoys daily interaction with take note dealers, while overseeing the production: from each individual card concept and design, to lending a helping hand in the shipping department.

THREE DESIGNING WOMEN

Three Designing Women has its beginnings in late 2004, when co-founder Lynn Fleck needed a year-end gift idea for clients of her graphic design firm.

The idea for a custom stamp occurred while she was designing a corporate logo – it was from that idea that she created individual custom stamps for everyone on her client list. These early stamps were comprised of simply the person’s name, with a design and typestyle that characterized each receiver. The designs were used to create the Introductory Custom Stamp line.

Since its debut, Three Designing Women has enjoyed incredible publicity - an appearance on NBC’s Today Show in December of 2005 and again in October of 2006, as well as Good Morning America in December 2007. The line has been featured in numerous other media outlets, including InStyle, Brides, RedBook, Domino and Better Homes & Gardens magazines.
